Pyramid Run - Pyramid Workouts

When you have finished 2 ab circuits do a 15-minute pyramid training run, using the Perceived Exertion intensity levels described in the cardio training section.

  • 2½ minutes warm-up at level 4
  • 2 minutes at level 5
  • 2 minutes at level 7
  • 2 minutes at level 9
  • 2 minutes at level 7
  • 2 minutes at level 5
  • 2½ minutes cool-down at level 4

Tip: Doing the ab circuits before the run will deplete your glycogen stores before you do the run so you will burn more fat.
